Home and Away's Dean Thompson will meet his son for the first time on UK screens next week.
Dean (Patrick O'Connor) is about to have his life turned upside-down when Amber Simmons drops the bombshell that she has a son and he's the father.
The news sends Dean into a spin, but he knows that he wants to do the right thing and start playing a role in the young boy's life.
Dean secures the blessing of his girlfriend Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman), who agrees to stand by his side as he embarks on this big new chapter.

When Dean speaks to Amber (Madeleine Jevic) again, she explains that her son is called Jai, named after her late brother.
Amber agrees that Dean can see Jai (River Jarvis) but she doesn't want him to introduce himself as his father just yet.
Reluctantly, Dean agrees to make out that he's merely a friend of Amber's to avoid confusing Jai at this stage.
Later, Dean is besotted when he gets to meet Jai and they strike up an easy bond as they play football together.

Ziggy feels slightly unsettled by the situation, already fearing that she could be pushed out of this new-found family dynamic between Dean, Amber and Jai.
Despite this, Ziggy tries her best to remain supportive – but is it only a matter of time before her worst fears become a reality?
Home and Away airs these scenes on Monday, September 21 and Tuesday, September 22 at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5.
