Hugh Grant has begged the public for urgent help after a script, and his children’s medical notes, were stolen from his car.
The 58-year-old actor pleaded on Twitter for the return of his belongings from the thieves on Twitter.
‘In the unlikely chance that anyone knows who broke into my car tonight and stole my bag, please try and persuade them to at least return my script,” Grant tweeted. “Many weeks worth of notes and ideas. And perhaps my children’s medical cards,” this was followed by the address to London film studios Coach Films.

It is unclear as to which script Grant is referring to. The actor, who recently returned from Los Angeles after being nominated at the Golden Globes for his role in A Very English Scandal, is reportedly involved in several upcoming projects.
This includes his new HBO series The Undoing in which he costars with Nicole Kidman. He is also set to play a gossip journalist in Guy Ritchie’s crime drama Toff Guys.
Grant is married to Swedish television producer Anna Elisabet Eberstein and they have three children together. Grant also has two additional children with Tinglan Hong.
Grant and Eberstein are believed to live in Notting Hill, London in a £10 million property.
Over 3,000 Twitter users have responded to Grant’s plea, including comedian David Baddiel. The stand-up comedian and novelist joked that he was in fact the culprit, as he was suffering from ‘very bad writer’s block.’
I'm sorry. I've had very bad writer's block.
