A new Usain Bolt documentary ‘I Am Bolt’ is coming to cinemas around the world of 28 November, and Yahoo is thrilled to bring you the exclusive first look at the film’s debut trailer.
Watch it above.
We’re all well acquainted with the record-breaking exploits of the triple treble Olympic Gold medalist; the 30-year-old Jamaican is the fastest human ever recorded, and we watched him make sporting history in Beijing, London, and Rio but – judging by this first trailer – we’re finally going to see how much dedication and effort goes into making running really, really fast, look really, really easy.
Shot on location in Beijing, London, Rio, Germany and London, ‘I Am Bolt’ has been produced by Fulwell 73 (the team behind ‘Class of ‘92’) with unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the man himself.
“My aim with making this film is to show people how my life really is,” says Bolt.
“What I’ve been through to get me where I am today, the ups and the downs, and an insight into what I am thinking and feeling. I know a lot of people around the world feel like they know me already but I’m excited for everyone to see the real me in ‘I Am Bolt’.”
Featuring archive footage of Usain’s youth, interviews with those closest to him, and videos shot by the man himself while making sporting history, ‘I Am Bolt’ promises to reveal all about the life of the global superstar.
Usain Bolt will mark his silver screen debut on Monday 28 November by attending the film’s world premiere in London’s Leicester Square on the same night, an event that will be simulcast to cinemas around the world.
‘I Am Bolt’ is in cinemas worldwide 28 November. Visit www.iamboltfilm.com for more information on screenings near you.
