Irons set for Beautiful Creatures

Jeremy Irons is joining Viola Davis and Emma Thompson in the supernatural thriller Beautiful Creatures, according to reports.

TheWrap reports that the actor would play the role of a mysterious uncle in the movie, which begins shooting next month in New Orleans.

Jack O'Connell and Alice Englert also star as characters who discover dark secrets about their families.

The film is being directed by Richard LaGravenese, who wrote Water For Elephants.

It is based on the book Beautiful Creatures, the first in a series by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl.

Jeremy has recently been filming the role of Henry IV in a TV movie.
