Jacqueline Bisset makes weird, swearword-laden Golden Globes speech
69-year-old British legend loses composure after nabbing Globe win for ‘Top of the Lake’.
British thesp Jacqueline Bisset took home the prize for ‘Most rambling speech of the evening’ at this Sunday’s 71st Golden Globes.
The 69-year-old won a Best Supporting Actress in a Mini-Series or TV Movie trophy for her work in ‘Top of the Lake’.

The clearly shaken star took the stage, and for what seemed like hours didn’t really say anything. Eventually she thanked the HFPA and made the amusing point that she was named ‘Best Newcomer’ at the awards a mere 47 years ago - and that she’d been nominated “about five times”.
Things got more bizarre when she paid tribute to her Scottish dad by giving a shout-out to ’12 Years a Slave’ star Chiwetel Ejiofor: "OK, Scottish background to the front! Where is Chiwetel? I need him for inspiration!"
Then, with the “get off the stage music” piping up, she tried to pull herself together, before unleashing a string of expletives to the audience. Only the end of "s**t" made it into the TV audio, though there was a big enough gap in the sound to reveal what there was – possibly – some even naughtier swearwords.

She finished with some slightly odd but probably sage advice: "My mother. ... However, however, however, if you want to look good, you have to forgive everybody. It is the best beauty treatment."
She wasn’t the only foul-mouthed winner on the night, with ‘Breaking Bad’ star Aaron Paul yelling to the audience when the show won ‘Best Drama’: “Yeah b**ch! Thank you!”
