Ask certain corners of the internet how they feel about Robert Pattinson being cast as the new Batman, and you'll likely hear enough excited, high-pitch squeals to echolocate your way to the cinema.
One of those excited squealers is none other than Jaden Smith, who has eloquently revealed that he's 'losing his f**king sh*t' over Pattinson's casting as The Dark Knight in Matt Reeves' The Batman.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine, he said: "Oh my gosh, I don’t even know what to say. Amazing things are happening every day that you don’t even know.
"I don’t even know. I’m at a loss for words with how excited I am for him. It has to happen. It has to f**king happen. He will be the best Batman. I’m losing my f**king sh*t."
Just in case you weren't aware, Jaden is a massive Batman fan, so much so that he often dresses up as the vigilante. He even wore a white batsuit to Kim Kardashian and Kayne West's wedding.
Last month it was revealed that The Batman won't be an origin story, with Bruce Wayne already in full crime-fighting flow by the time the film hits cinema screens in 2021.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Reeves apparently wanted his leading actor to be in a distinct age bracket – around 30 years old.
The Batman is scheduled for release on June 25, 2021.
