Since hitting the big time as a talk show host in the US, James Corden has met a fair few movie stars.

But the rudest he's ever met is closer to home than you'd think.

On his Late Late Show, he spoke to reality star Khloe Kardashian during a segment of 'Spill Your Guts', when he was asked about his least graceful brush with stardom (via The Blast).

The former Gavin & Stacey star then said it was a chance run-in with former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan at – of all places – a U2 concert.

“Pierce Brosnan,” he announced after some initial reticence.

“I don’t think he’s a rude man, he just happened to be [to me]. He was with some friends and they left halfway through the gig to go off, and we left the space [for them].

“And then they had been gone quite a long time and Bono was right there on this big runway in the middle of the show.

“So me and my wife moved into this area, and literally, I’ve never felt anything like it, this arm went on here and just pushed me out the way. And I looked at him, and he didn’t even glance at me and he just moved back into his area.”

Kardashian then suggested that perhaps the actor could have been drunk at the time.

“Maybe he’s just a bit f***ing rude,” Corden then offered in response.
