James McAvoy has posted a cheesy selfie to kick off the production of It: Chapter Two, and we mean that literally.

The Scottish actor shared a snap of a cheese triangle to his Instagram with the caption: “Day 1 on IT 2. Glad you got the memo guys. #passthecheeseplease #derryordairy.”

McAvoy was referencing the town that the movie takes place in, as well as several other Stephen King stories.

Derry, Maine, is inhabited by the Losers Club who were introduced in It: Chapter One where the teen team too down the demonic being known as Pennywise the Clown – or so they thought.

It: Chapter Two is set 27 years after the first movie and it brings all the now-adult Losers Club back to Derry after a devastating event occurs.

McAvoy takes over the role of Bill, whose younger brother is murdered by Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard) in the first film, and Jessica Chastain plays an adult Beverly.

She updated her Instagram story with hints that she’s on her way to join McAvoy including a shot of the Stephen King book the film is based on.

Bill Hader, James Ransone, Andy Bean, Jay Ryan, and Isaiah Mustafa will play Richie, Eddie, Stan, Ben, and Mike, respectively, and Andy Muschietti returns to direct a script from  Gary Dauberman.

It: Chapter Two is in cinemas on September 6, 2019
