Jamie Dornan Denies He Is Quitting Fifty Shades

Rumours that Jamie Dornan will not reprise his role as Christian Grey in the box office hit Fifty Shades Of Grey have been dismissed by his representative.

There have been reports that the Northern Irish actor had quit the franchise, based on EL James' three books, because his wife Amelia Warner was unhappy with the raunchy content in the film.

Universal Studios is yet to announce whether it will make more Fifty Shades films but it is understood Dornan and his co-star Dakota Johnson have signed up to appear again.

Dornan's representative told Sky News: "Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film."

The film, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, has been number one at the UK box office since its release on 13 February.

After 10 days it had taken £25.2m, overtaking The Wolf Of Wall Street to become the biggest 18-certificate film at the UK box office.

The film has received mixed reviews, with Johnson's performance receiving wider plaudits than Dornan's.
