In case you’re having difficulty keeping up with the controversial things said by the billionaire reality TV star and US Republican Presidential candidate (which would be understandable), a recently rediscovered 2004 interview with Trump on the Howard Stern radio show features sexual comments about the actress, who was aged 18 at the time and struggling with well-publicised personal issues.

Curtis, who had worked with the former child star on Disney’s hit remake of body-swap comedy ‘Freaky Friday’ the previous year, took to Instagram to highlight Trump’s comments, and give her response:

“"Can you imagine the sex with this troubled teen?“ said Stern. "Yeah, you’re probably right,” Trump said. “She’s probably deeply troubled and therefore great in bed. How come the deeply troubled women, you know, deeply, deeply troubled, they’re always the best in bed?”

“I am appalled. Lindsay needed help and guidance. Not your gross, lecherous, lewd commentary. YOU are the Republican nominee for the Presidency. #wordsmattermrtrump @hillaryclinton #hillaryclinton

Lohan herself has not responded to these comments, her representatives telling CNN, “Right now, Lindsay is choosing to focus on the positive things happening in her life and has decided to disregard the comments made about her by Presidential nominee Donald Trump. She is focusing on helping children around the world in need and that’s where her passion is.“

Curtis is the latest among an ever-growing list of prominent Hollywood figures to speak out against Trump, others including Robert De Niro, Tom Hanks, and Curtis’s ‘True Lies’ co-star (and prominent Republican) Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Trump will go up against Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton for the US presidency on 8 November.
