Ares follows the first two Tron movies, which were released in 1982 and 2010, respectively. It is now being reported that the new movie is slated for a 2025 release by Disney.

Tron: Ares builds upon the legacy of cutting-edge design, technology and storytelling. Now more than ever, it feels like the right time to return to the Grid.”

Tron: Ares is expected in cinemas in 2025.
