Jennifer Lawrence And Hunger Games Crew Recreate That Oscars Selfie

As casts go, the one from ‘The Hunger Games’ is pretty impressive.

So with that in mind, Sam Claflin recreated that star-laden selfie that Bradley Cooper took on Oscar night in 2014.

On the red carpet of the London premiere in a rainy Leicester Square last night, Claflin grouped the crew together for the shot.

He managed to squeeze in Woody Harrelson, Julianne Moore, Donald Sutherland, Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Gwendoline Christie, Stanley Tucci, Natalie Dormer and, of course, himself.

It was a selfie, after all.

Sadly, in the pic he then posted to his Instagram page, Josh Hutcherson, who plays Peeta, just missed out. He’ll be gutted.

As you may recall, that Oscar selfie, the most re-tweeted image of 2014, encompassed the likes of Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong'o, Brad Pitt, Bradley Cooper, Kevin Spacey, Ellen DeGeneres, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Channing Tatum, and Jared Leto.

Jennifer Lawrence managed to appear in both.

The cast will be on a round the world promotional trip to promote the final movie in the 'Hunger Games’ series, after London taking in Paris, Beijing, LA, Madrid and then New York.

So far, the movie has received rave reviews.

With a very respectable score of 89% 'fresh’ on reviews aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, nearly all critics have praised the movie, helmed by Francis Lawrence, while also referencing its brutality.

Geoffrey Macnab in The Independent called it 'by far the darkest, most violent entry in the series, but also the best’, while Time Out’s Tom Huddleston said it 'might be the most thrillingly downbeat blockbuster in recent memory, a film that starts out pitiless and goes downhill from there’.

It’s out nationwide on November 19.
