Jennifer Lawrence back with Russell?

Oscar-nominee Jennifer Lawrence has been lined up to play in David O. Russell's next film according to 'Deadline New York'.

The film, which formerly went by the title 'American Bullshit,' has a stellar cast that includes fellow 'Silver Linings Playbook' lead Bradley Cooper alongside Jeremy Renner, Amy Adams and Christian Bale.

Lawrence will be playing Bale's wife in a drama within by Eric Singer and director Russell. The plot concerns the infamous FBI 'Abscan' sting operation which incriminated several US congressmen in the '70s.

Charles Roven and Richard Suckle will be producing as-yet-un-renamed film via Atlas Entertainment which now looks likely to be Russell's next film following the abandonment of his last project which was to star Jake Gyllenhaal.

Jennifer Lawrence is currently a strong contender for an Academy Award as best leading actress in 'Silver Linings Playbook' for which she's already won a Golden Globe.
