28-year-old Bennett plays Megan in the movie, the woman that Emily Blunt’s character becomes obsessed with on her daily commute.
Entertainment Tonight has even gone as far as calling her ‘the next Jennifer Lawrence’, and not merely because they look alike.
“I really admire her and I think she’s had an incredible career and I guess we both have blonde hair,” she said of the comparisons.
Well yes, there’s that.
Meanwhile, a feature in New York magazine noted that she’s ‘the Jennifer Lawrence look-a-like who’s about to be everywhere’.

Prior to ‘The Girl on the Train’, she made her movie debut playing the pop singer Cora Corman in the Hugh Grant movie ‘Music and Lyrics’ in 2007.
Since then the actress, who is also a talented singer, has appeared in movies like ‘The Equalizer’ with Denzel Washington, ‘Hardcore Henry’, and the remake of ‘The Magnificent Seven’.

She also has a role in ‘Weightless’, the forthcoming movie from feted director Terrence Malick, due out in March next year, and also starring Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale, Rooney Mara and Cate Blanchett.
There’s also war drama ‘Thank You For Your Service’, where she stars opposite Miles Teller in a movie about post-traumatic stress disorder in US soldiers.
