Film fans can breathe a sigh of relief - Jennifer Lawrence is not taking a break from Hollywood.
Fans and filmmakers alike were left in a mild panic when movie mogul Harvey Weinstein suggested The Hunger Games actress was planning on stepping away from work for a while.
Considering the string of wild successes Jen's had with roles in The Hunger Games and X-men series, as well as winning an Oscar for Silver Linings Playbook, the Hollywood producer's suggestion that she may take a hiatus from her crazy schedule didn't seem that far fetched.
Harvey told The Sun on Sunday, "She going to have a nice long break for a year where she won't do anything. It's been non-stop for her and she deserves a rest... Jennifer is too nice and will do people favours and agrees to do a movie like American Hustle when she could have had a rest."
While she might indeed deserve some time off, the movie world would have sorely missed the young actress.
But on the red carpet at the Oscars on Sunday Jen told MTV News she isn't going anywhere just yet, joking, "That's just Harvey Weinstein being and idiot. No, he's not being an idiot, I don't know. I would like to take a year off, that would be a dream. I'd like to if I could."
Jennifer's still filming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2, and is also featuring in X-Men: Days Of Future Past, so 2014's shaping up to be a pretty busy year.
We hope you're not over-working yourself, Jen, but we're thrilled to hear you won't be absent from our cinemas any time soon.
