Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Continue to Blend Their Families

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are taking the time to bond with each other's children this summer.

The couple were spotted on two outings with their kids in Los Angeles this past weekend. On Friday, they saw Hamilton at the Pantages Theatre with Lopez's twins, Max and Emme Muñiz, 13; Affleck's daughters, Violet Affleck, 15, and Seraphina Affleck, 12; and Affleck's mother, Christine Boldt. On Saturday, the group went to a show at The Magic Castle, where they were joined by Affleck's son, Samuel Affleck, 9.

Lopez and Affleck, who rekindled their romance this year after being previously engaged in 2002, have been letting their kids get to know each other as their relationship progresses, per People. "Since Jennifer and Ben are in it for the long run, it's just a natural step that they all spend time together with the kids," an insider told the outlet.

Though the couple are reportedly very serious about each other, with reports saying that they are "madly in love" and have become inseparable, Lopez and Affleck are taking their time when it comes to blending their families.

"They are not trying to rush anything, but they want all the kids to get to know each other. They are making the last few days of summer as fun as they can. Soon it's back to school and work," the insider told People.

Bennifer's fun family weekend came shortly after the couple celebrated Affleck's 49th birthday. Affleck spent the special day with his three children, whom he shares with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, before enjoying an intimate, low-key gathering at night. In addition to a birthday cake for Affleck, Lopez brought jewelry she handpicked as gifts for his daughters.
