Jennifer Lopez has revealed a first look at Marry Me, her new romantic comedy with Owen Wilson.

The Hustlers star took to social media this week to share a couple of images of the upcoming film, which marks her first appearance in a rom-com since 2018's Second Act.

The first of the images shows Lopez in character as Latin popstar Kat Valdez as she rehearses with a group of dancers, while the second sees her sharing an intimate moment with her on-screen love interest Wilson.

Directed by Kat Coiro (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Dead to Me, She-Hulk), Marry Me is based on Bobby Crosby's graphic novel of the same name.

The film follows Kat, who, after discovering that her on-stage partner (recording artist Maluma) has been having an affair, pulls a massive publicity stunt and chooses to marry a random member of her audience – Wilson's Charlie Gilbert.

The Universal movie was previously scheduled for a February 21, 2021 release, but has now been pushed back three months to May 14. That means it'll no longer clash with the release of Marvel's Eternals.

The film, which also stars Sarah Silverman, was written by John Rogers (The Librarians, Catwoman), Tami Sagher (30 Rock), and Harper Dill (The Mick).

Marry Me will feature an original soundtrack by Lopez and Maluma, who released a preview of a two-part music video earlier this year.

Marry Me will be released on May 14, 2021.
