Jennifer Lopez says a director once asked to see her breasts during a meeting
Jennifer Lopez has revealed that a director once asked her to take her top off during a meeting about a movie.
The star of new movie Hustlers added that she refused, but not before 'panicking in the moment'.
Lopez made the admission in a roundtable interview in The Hollywood Reporter, with fellow stars Laura Dern, Scarlett Johansson, Renee Zellweger, Lupita N'yongo and Awkwafina.
“A director at a fitting asked me to take my top off... because I was supposed to do nudity in the movie. He wanted to see my boobs,” she said, without naming the director.
“And I was like, 'We’re not on set.' And I said no, I stood up for myself. But it was so funny because I remember being so panicked in the moment.

“And by the way, there was a costume designer in the room with me. So there was another woman in the room and he says this and I said no.
“Luckily a little bit of the Bronx came out, and I was like, 'I don’t have to show you my — No. On the set, you see them.
“That's the thing, because if you give in, in that moment, all of a sudden that person is off and running, thinking they can do whatever they want. And because I put up a little boundary right there and said no, he laid off and then later on apologised.
“But the minute he walked out of the room the costume designer was like, 'I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry that just happened.'”
In the same interview, Scarlett Johansson discusses how she was 'hyper-sexualised' as a young actress working in Hollywood.

“The climate is so different now, there's so many wonderful opportunities for women of every age to play all different types of people,” she said.
“When I was working in my early 20s and even my late teens, I felt that I got somehow typecast as hypersexualised, which I guess at the time seemed OK to everyone — it was another time — even though it wasn't part of my own narrative.
“It was kind of crafted for me by probably a bunch of dudes in the industry.
“But it was really difficult for me to try to figure out how to get out of being an ingenue or the 'other woman' because it was never anything that I had intended. I had to shake it up a little bit.”
Lopez is likely to be among the front-runners for the Best Actress Oscar at this year's Academy Awards for her role in the movie Hustlers.
