John Wick: Chapter 4 has honoured late star Lance Reddick in its end credits sequence.

Recognised for playing The Continental's concierge Charon across the action franchise, Reddick tragically passed away at the age of 60 last week. His representatives cited natural causes as his cause of death.

Ahead of the fourth movie's worldwide theatrical release this weekend, Deadline shared a look at the movie insert from a recent screening on social media.

The insert reads "In memory of Lance Reddick" in white on a black screen.

Reddick's co-star Keanu Reeves (who plays master assassin Baba Yaga in John Wick) recently opened up about his sad death, telling Entertainment Tonight: "Lance is a very beautiful person and special artist.

"His grace and dignity, his shining light of character was just something really special. [I am] really grateful I had a chance to know him and work with him over almost 10 years."

Reeves and John Wick director Chad Stahelski also released a joint statement regarding Reddick's untimely death, sharing: "We are deeply saddened and heartbroken at the loss of our beloved friend and colleague Lance Reddick.

"He was the consummate professional and a joy to work with. Our love and prayers are with his wife Stephanie, his children, family and friends. We dedicate the film to his loving memory. We will miss him dearly."

Lionsgate also shared a touching tribute to the late star. "The world of Wick would not be what it is without Lance Reddick and the unparalleled depth he brought to Charon's humanity and unflappable charisma," it read.

"Lance leaves behind an indelible legacy and hugely impressive body of work, but we will remember him as our lovely, joyful friend and Concierge. We're stunned and heartbroken, and our deepest condolences go to his beloved family and his fans all around the world."
