As well as her sturdy wage, she also got a $60-a-day (£38) per diem.

In the film, Vivienne plays the role of the young Princess Aurora, the elder role being played by Elle Fanning.

Her siblings Pax and Zahara also have roles in the film, while Indie Eisley is playing the younger Maleficent, Jolie's character.

The film, a twist on the 'Sleeping Beauty' story told from the point of view Disney's evil fairy godmother, began shooting last summer.

Now in post-production, it also stars 'District 9's Sharlto Copley, Juno Temple, Sam Riley, Miranda Richardson, Imelda Staunton and Lesley Manville.

It is due for release in July.
