Glenn Close joins Andrew Scott in Knives Out 3 cast
Kerry Washington and Glenn Close have become the latest names to join the already-stacked cast of Knives Out 3 ahead of filming starting next month.
These award-winning actors join Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny and Josh O'Connor in Benoit Blanc's third murder mystery adventure, titled Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery, which is once again helmed by Rian Johnson, who also co-wrote the script with Ram Bergman.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but some fans are speculating on the connection the movie might have with a U2 song, 'Wake Up Dead Man', with which it shares its title.

Variety has subsequently reported Scott's involvement, which is a reunion for him with Daniel Craig after previously appearing in the Bond film Spectre, while Deadline was the first to report Washington's involvement and The Hollywood Reporter announced Close's casting.
As the film is expected to go into production next month, better keep your eyes peeled to find out who else is joining Daniel Craig's impeccably dressed sleuth this time around.

Craig's Blanc was last seen in 2022's Glass Onion, the second Knives Out instalment serving as a follow-up to the acclaimed first film released in 2019.
In film number two, the detective brings his most dashing summer outfits and Southern accent to Greece, where tech billionaire Miles Bron (Edward Norton) hosts a murder mystery game for his friends on his private island. Things turn a little too real when one of the guests dies after drinking from a glass intended for Bron.
Alongside Norton, Knives Out 2 starred Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr, Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista.
Craig was the sole main cast member of Knives Out to return for its sequel, while Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Noah Segan made cameo appearances.
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery will be released in 2025.
