Julia Roberts and George Clooney's forthcoming romantic comedy has landed a 2022 release date.

Ticket to Paradise reunites the Ocean's Eleven co-stars as a divorced couple who team up and travel to Bali to prevent their lovestruck daughter from following in their footsteps 25 years on.

Ticket to Paradise will begin filming in Australia later this year. Confirmation of its release date follows Billie Lourd being added to the cast.

The American Horror Story actress will play the couple's daughter, Wren Butler, who has been described as a "recent college graduate who travels with her best friend for a holiday in Bali".

Additional cast members have yet to be announced, though Clooney and Roberts will both serve as producers on the project.

It marks their latest on-screen reunion after starring in Jodie Foster's Money Monster in 2016.
