Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard has confessed that she had a massive crush on her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.

The actress appeared in the third Twilight movie Eclipse as vampire Victoria, with her character actually being killed by Pattinson's character Edward Cullen, but it turns out that she had a bit of a thing for the actor before she starred alongside him.

Speaking on PeopleTV's Couch Surfing, she revealed that she used to fancy the actor so much that one of her best friends "made a bunch of Post-it Notes for me with a picture of Rob's face" on – and she used those notes, which had the word "live dangerously" written on them, "for years".

The actress' husband Seth Gabel also knew about her crush and she admitted that he used to get irritated when he watched the Twilight movies with her.

"When I first saw the first Twilight movie, I watched it with my husband and whenever Robert Pattinson came on screen, I would squeeze his hand so hard," she said. "At a certain point he was like, 'Can you stop squeezing my hand when that man goes on screen?'"

Hopefully, Howard had got over her crush a little when she starred in Eclipse with the object of her affection or it could have made her on-set experience rather awkward...

She confirmed that appearing in Eclipse was "wonderful" and called R-Patz a "sweetheart", even if his character did rip off her character's head.

Both actors have been very busy since their Twilight days, with Howard starring in the Jurassic World films and Rocketman, as well as directing an episode of Star Wars Disney+ series The Mandalorian.

Pattinson is set to star in Christopher Nolan's massive new blockbuster Tenet, which is finally due for release in August, and is also playing a little character called Batman in Matt Reeves' upcoming movie The Batman.
