Kanye West played big brother for Kendall Jenner's catwalk spot

The Kardashian clan are usually the most supportive bunch in celebdom, but when Kendall Jenner walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week, she had to go it alone as her mum and sisters were busy schmoozing at Sir Elton John's Oscars viewing party.

Luckily for Kendall, she has a brother-in-law to be in the form of Kanye West who provided support on the night, and sat in the front row as she strutted her stuff during the Givenchy fashion show.

As an avid fashion fan, not to mention someone who frequently finds himself at the centre of drama at award ceremonies, perhaps it's no surprise Kanye decided to check out the Autumn/Winter collections in the French capital instead of attending Oscars parties with the likes of Kelly Osbourne or Lady Gaga.

It obviously meant a lot to the Kardashian collective that the Stronger rapper stepped in to look after Kendall, and Kim attempted to make up for her own absence by texting her little sister good luck messages as she waited to take the catwalk.

Kim later took to her Twitter account to share her joy at Kanye's attendance, writing, "Best part was my baby watching & cheering on my baby sister!!! So sad I missed it! #Family #Givenchy."

That's it for you, Kanye, you are now another branch on the Kardashian family tree.
