The Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars have expressed their upset at news reports of the animals being killed as more than 200 fires continued to rage Down Under on social media – only to be criticised for not publicly donating money to help the cause.
One tweet, which has since been deleted, said: “Nothing gets me more heated than to see the Kardashians/Jenners talk about climate change/wildfires and not donate even a penny.”

The reality star hit back by replying: “Nothing gets me more heated than to see people think they know what we donated to and to think we have to publicise everything.”
Meanwhile her younger sister Kylie Jenner was branded a “hypocrite” for posting an image on her Instagram stories of a koala being rescued by a firefighter with the comment,“Over half a billion animals have been killed in Australia. This breaks my heart.”
Just 12 hours later, she posted an image of herself wearing £1,080 Louis Vuitton slippers made of real mink fur.
One Twitter user commented: “Crying about Koalas dying while literally wearing the skin of this animal as slippers on her feet.”
Jenner has also edited a caption on her latest Instagram post which shows her sitting in front of a lit fireplace.
She originally captioned the image: “find ur fire [sic]”
But after one user commented, “If anyone needs fire... you can have ours - Australia,” Jenner changed the caption to, “Night out.”
Celebrities who have publicly pledged to donate money to help the Australian bushfire crisis include singer Pink, Australian actor Chris Hemsworth and Aussie singer Kylie Minogue.
