Leading Karol G’s nominations is Top Latin Artist and Top Latin Album for her work “Mañana Será Bonito.” Released in February, the project marked the first time an all-Spanish-language album made by a female artist topped the Billboard 200 list.

In addition, the album, which features her song “TQG” with Shakira, is the first Latin album by a female artist to earn the number-one spot on the Billboard 200 list since 1995. The last artist to reach that mark was the late Selena, with her fifth and final studio album “Dreaming of You.”
At the Billboard Latin Music Awards in October, Karol G won the prestigious Album of the Year Award.
That same month, she was the recipient of the Spirit of Hope Award for her philanthropic work with her Con Cora Foundation. Founded in 2022, the organization provides psychological, economic and artistic aid to underprivileged women.
Karol G is on her “Mañana Será Bonito Tour,” which initially began in August. One of her standout looks from the worldwide tour is a sparkling sheer catsuit with a white skirt wrapped around her waist.
Since 1990, the Billboard Music Awards has seen the publication recognize the top-charting stars in the music industry. This year’s performers include Peso Pluma, Bebe Rhexa and a debut performance by NewJeans. The 2023 Billboard Music Awards will stream on bmas.watch.com on Nov. 19.
