Katy Perry hit with identity crisis in new video

Katy Perry looks like she's battling a slight identity crisis in a new teaser clip for her next music video.

Katy and her team are currently gearing up to unveil her new music video for her single Birthday, and she's certainly pulling out all the stops to intrigue her fans.

A new teaser clip for the promo sees the Roar singer donning a range of costumes and assuming numerous personalities - young and old, male and female!

The clip opens with the pop star done up to look like an ageing dancer, scantily clad in a revealing low-cut top and putting on a British accent that sounds more than a little bit like her ex-hubby Russell Brand.

She then goes on to introduce herself as a bad male Jewish comedian, a disillusioned and possibly alcoholic clown, a cowboy animal trainer and an apparently image obsessed princess.

Wow.

We certainly can't wait to see what the music video has in store, and after trying her hand at so many different roles perhaps Katy's considering a move from music to film...
