Keanu Reeves flattered to learn fans have been trying to have virtual sex with his avatar in video game
Keanu Reeves was delighted to learn that fans were hacking a video game in order to have virtual sex with his avatar.
The Matrix star voices the character of Johnny Silverhand, the ghost of a war-veteran-turned-rock-star, in Cyberpunk 2077.
Developers CD Projekt Red have had to re-modify the game to prevent users from 'model swapping' Reeves' character into the love scenes, in order to simulate sex with him.
Reeves, 57, responded to the news by telling The Verge: "Yes! Oh my God, it’s always nice, when it’s nice.
“Think of how much money is in porn, so you would not even have to be there and people could have digital sex with your avatar. What’s it called right now, ‘For Members Only’? You could do a whole thing.”

He went on: “Then you get the suit, that’s probably made in Sweden or some German thing. And then you’ve got the VR thing.
"Then they’ve got the data on you with your like, arousal metrics.
"So then you're in the suit with your arousal metrics, through your 'Members Only' metaverse X."
But his Matrix co-star Carrie-Ann Moss laughed: "I say no thank you. Keanu's fine with it."
But the Bill and Ted star went on to muse that VR sex could make people appreciate their real life relationships more.
He said: "The you take everything off and how do you feel about the relationships you're in?
"Then you hold that real thing and you're like 'I'm so glad we have reality.'"

Reeves recently claimed that he and Winona Ryder, 50, Oscar and Emmy-winning star of Stranger Things, have been married for almost thirty years.
The pair starred in Francis Ford Coppola's Dracula in 1992.
And Reeves told GQ Magazine: "We did a whole take of a marriage ceremony with real priests."
Asked if they are still 'married,' the actor joked, "Winona says we are. Coppola says we are. So I guess we’re married under the eyes of God."
Ryder has also spoken about the wedding - three years ago, she told Entertainment Weekly, "We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to God I think we’re married in real life...In that scene, Francis [Ford Coppola] used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So I think we’re married."
