Disgraced actor Kevin Spacey is currently facing a number of legal issues, more than three years after allegations of sexual harassment and assault were levelled against him.

According to a lengthy article in The Hollywood Reporter, Spacey is in a legal battle against former House of Cards production company Media Rights Capital, which is reportedly seeking millions in damages it says it suffered due to Spacey’s 2017 scandal, which they argue “diminished” the show’s value. In turn, Spacey reportedly brought a counterclaim against MRC.

According to THR, MRC alleges that in 2012 Spacey sexually harassed a House of Cards production assistant, but Spacey says that the company wasn't “blindsided” by the scandal after previously signing off on a settlement with the PA. The case was reportedly submitted to an arbitrator last year.

During the legal proceedings, THR reports that things took a strange turn. “Like everything in the new bizarre world of Spacey, this legal proceeding turned surreal quickly," the Reporter writes. “At one point during his deposition, Spacey sprung up from his seat and performed a song-and-dance number in the conference room.”

Spacey is also facing the possibility of criminal charges in London, according to THR, plus an ongoing civil lawsuit from a sexual assault accuser.

The two-time Oscar winner was hit with multiple allegations of sexual assault between 2017 and 2018, initially by the actor Anthony Rapp, and then by more than 30 individuals. The assault allegations ranged from harassment to attempted rape.

Every Christmas since 2018, Spacey has released cryptic video messages, with last year's being him channeling his House of Cards character Frank Underwood.
