COMMENT | It looks as though 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is about to get a bit more diverse as Korean actress Kim Soo Hyun is tipped for a role.
After the news that Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch would be joining Marvel's Avengers in 'Age of Ultron', it started to feel as though this super-charged superhero sequel was getting a little bit crowded. But now it seems another apparently major rolehas been cast… and the part has gone to Korean actress Kim Soo Hyun.
According to Korean website KDramaStars, Kim Soo Hyun has already been cast in the upcoming 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'. And her role will apparently place her at the side of Robert Downey Jr's Tony Stark.
"Kim Soo Hyun did make it into 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'," said their casting source. "But we cannot confirm anything until there is the official announcement."
"Kim Soo Hyun is to star as a partner of Iron Man Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr., as a doctor."
The role will apparently see Kim Soo Hyun helping out Tony Stark during the middle of the movie… though it's currently unclear how that might transpire.
"Kim Soo Hyun has a lot of major scenes in the movie," they explain. And it's led many fans to wonder whether she will be instrumental in the creation of Ultron.
Of course, for now we'll just have to wait and see. After all, Marvel have yet to officially confirm her involvement, let alone what character she might be playing. But apparently her agents have been pushing for an official confirmation. So we might just get those details sooner rather than later.
