Kim Kardashian switched from her breathtaking Versace gold dress at the Met Gala to her equally eye-grabbing black mini after party dress, with the most bondage inspired of cage tops.

It's one way to continue the night where the theme, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination, was religious. When the Met Gala ends and the after party starts, church is over. There's still crosses on the shoes though.

Kardashian also explained on Twitter why Kanye West did indeed skip being her date at the gala. West tweeted her look with fire emojis; she retweeted it and wrote, "Love you babe wish you were here with meeeeee but you’re only finishing up 5 albums."

Kardashian shared several stories from inside the Met Gala, including videos of her with her sister Kylie Jenner, Ariana Grande, and Bella Hadid.
