Kit Harington Would Awkwardly Fake-Vomit After Acting With Emilia Clarke in ‘Game of Thrones’ Love Scenes

• Kit Harington (Jon Snow) gave a lengthy Variety interview where we learned what it was like for him to shoot Game of Thrones love scenes with Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen).

• Obviously, his character was way into it, but Kit took a goofier approach IRL.

There are only 13 days left until April, WHICH MEANS the Game of Thrones season eight premiere is mere weeks away. So close, yet still so far.

To hold us all over until the battle at Winterfell inevitably shatters my heart into a million pieces and clarifies WTF happened that left Emilia Clarke wandering aimlessly for three hours, Kit Harington is here with some supplemental info.

He sat down with Variety to spill all the GoT tea (although not as much as co-star Sophie Turner), but it was actually Emilia who revealed the juiciest gem of them all-that Kit’s reaction to filming romantic love scenes with her was, well, kinda weird.

“The first scene we had together,” Emilia started, “we both just started laughing. Why are you looking at me this strange way and saying these strange lines? You’re my friend!”

Okay okay, that’s actually super normal. But when it was time for full onscreen romance, Emilia said Kit would pretend to retch during their scenes. As in, this man was out here fake-vomiting all over the place. “Oh my god, mate,” she remembered reacting. “You’re not making this any easier!”

Easier? Definitely not. More fun? Jury’s out on that one.
