Yahoo Movies Knives Out star Don Johnson addresses the possibility of a Miami Vice revival
Don Johnson has hinted that well-loved '80s television series Miami Vice may be getting a modern-day revival.
Appearing as a guest on ITV's This Morning today (October 8), the 69-year-old actor told presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that there are talks going on at the moment over whether the show could make a comeback.
"We're kicking around some thoughts," he revealed. "Amazingly enough, it's come back around and seems they've run out of ideas for good shows, so they're going to the well!"

Originally airing between 1984 and 1989, Miami Vice saw Johnson play stylishly-dressed detective James 'Sonny' Crockett opposite Philip Michael Thomas's equally as suave Ricardo 'Rico' Tubbs.
Across the surprisingly dark series' run, the pair investigated all sorts of crimes from drug deals to murder.
And, asked whether he would return to the show himself if it made a comeback, Johnson said coyly: "Maybe, I don't know! There's a lot of water left to row, but we'll see."
As for where his character would be today, Johnson admitted he could be in "any number of places", before adding: "Let's say an opium den in Thailand, I don't know. He's a very experienced fellow. I don't know, we'll have to figure all of that out."
Johnson was in London to promote his upcoming 'whodunnit' movie Knives Out, directed by Star Wars: The Last Jedi's Rian Johnson.
Packed with star-studded names including Avengers star Chris Evans, Toni Collette, Daniel Craig and Jamie Lee Curtis, it centres on the wealthy Thrombey family, who become the suspects of a murder investigation when the family patriarch winds up dead.
Knives Out is in cinemas on November 29, 2019, while This Morning airs weekdays at 10.30am on ITV.
