Hello Stranger tells the story of Cam, a "techno-hermit" who leads his life from an electronically automated smart home.

"Cam interacts with strangers on the platform Hello Stranger: a randomised video chatting website," reads the synopsis. "Eventually, he encounters a masked stranger with an altered voice. Unnerved, Cam leaves the call only to find the stranger has hacked his smart-home and locked him in.

"The stranger tells Cam that he must win three rounds of games or it is ‘game over’. Viewers must make decisions and play the 3 games in order for Cam to survive but one wrong choice could lead to a grisly end."

Elsewhere, Whitmore recently opened up about her experience on Strictly Come Dancing with Giovanni Pernice, accusing BBC bosses of "gaslighting" her.

Speaking with The Irish Times, Whitmore said she first aired her complaints to bosses back in 2016 during her time on the show's 14th series.

Asked if she thought she was listened to at the time, Whitmore said: "Or [I was] gaslit to make it seem normalised."

"It's a shame that it has to come out in such a victim-shaming way, which it always does. And being the first person to speak up about anything is always hard," she continued, adding: "I think we're louder now, and we're pulling people up on things now."

The BBC recently confirmed that Pernice would not be appearing in this year's 22nd series of Strictly.
