The Voice UK aired its first round of semi-finals on Saturday's (March 6) episode, and the coaches put half of their teams up to perform, leaving them with some tough choices to make.

Each coach had three of their six contestants perform individually – though afterwards, each coach could only take one act through to the final.

Along the way, four celebrity mentors appeared to help the coaches in their rehearsals, with Anne-Marie joined by Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

However, at one point the Little Mix star shared a hilarious moment with one of the contestants, Sweeney, who she actually knew from one of the band's music videos.

After greeting each other and saying that it was nice to see one another, Leigh-Anne told Sweeney: "I've got a bone to pick with you actually, you said Anne-Marie was the best person you ever danced for. What about us?"

The contestant laughed and said: "I know, how do I win in this situation?"

Explaining where she knew Sweeney from, the Little Mix star continued: "Sweeney danced for us about four years ago in the 'Touch' video. It was actually really nice because he actually said to me he wanted to be a singer so to know that he is now on this show like and living out his dream is amazing."

He performed 'Cry Me A River' by Justin Timberlake and while Anne-Marie was impressed it wasn't enough to get through. Instead, the coach put through Leona Jørgensen.

Joining Leona in The Voice UK finals is Nadia Eide from Team Will, Benjamin Warner from Team Tom, and Jordan and Wesley from Team Olly.

The Voice UK continues next Saturday (March 13) at 8:30 pm on ITV.
