From Harper's BAZAAR

Actress, writer and director Lena Dunham is among the impressive roster of inspiring women who have joined forces with London Fashion Week favourite 16Arlington this International Women's Day.

The fashion label has collaborated with 12 women on a visual project which aims to inspire and empower, while it will also make contributions to Refuge, a charity which provides specialist support for women and children experiencing domestic violence.

The project profiles and celebrates 12 inspiring women in the fashion industry, who have been captured in a unique style by multi-disciplinary artist Suzannah Pettigrew. The visual project features all women wearing the label’s signature Seymour shirt and asks them to name an individual or several women who they admire and are inspired by (which you can read in full on 16Arlington's Instagram page).

The line up includes Matches Fashion's Natalie Kingham and Net-a-Porter's Elizabeth von der Goltz; stylists Georgia Pendlebury, Ella Lucia, Leah Abbott and Flora Huddart; journalists Jeanie Annan-Lewis and Laura Jordan; make-up artist Ammy Drammeh; film producer Juliette Larthe and artist Suzannah Pettigrew, as well as Dunham, who is a friend of the brand and walked in the label’s debut catwalk show for AW20 last year.

16Arlington has made a direct donation to Refuge, while the brand will also be donating 100 per cent of the profits from sales of its Seymour shirt across the month of March to the charity. The shirt retails at £795 and is available to buy here.
