Leonardo DiCaprio ‘Raped By Bear’ In New Film Claims Critic

Has Leonardo DiCaprio been raped by a bear in his latest movie?

According to Drudge Report, the ‘grizzly’ scene appears in DiCaprio’s Oscar-tipped film, ‘The Revenant’… in which he stars as American wilderness explorer and fur trapper, Hugh Glass.

“The new movie ‘Revenant’ features a shocking scene of a wild bear raping Leo DiCaprio,” they claim. “The explicit moment from Oscar winning director Alejandro Inarritu has caused maximum controversy in early screenings. Some in the audience escaped to the exits when the Wolf of Wall Street met the Grizzly of Yellowstone.”

They claim that a brutal scene in which DiCaprio’s character is savaged by a wild bear actually takes a far darker turn… which involves being raped. Twice. By a bear.

Just let that sink in for a moment.

“The bear flips Leo over and thrusts and thrusts during the explicit mauling. He is raped - twice!”

“Not to be outdone, DiCaprio rips open a horse and sleeps naked in its carcass!”

‘The Revenant’ allegedly opens with this scene, and sees DiCaprio struggling to survive winter, after he is left for dead by his hunting team… as well as seeking vengeance on those who left him there.

But Drudge Report aren’t the only ones claiming this scene has a more sexually explicit tone.

“The bear flips Glass over on his belly and molests him– dry humps him actually– as he nearly devours him,” claims Showbiz 411. “How Innaritu and DiCaprio did this is a movie mystery, because it is as real feeling as Bruce the shark in ‘Jaws’ 40 years ago. It’s as real looking as it could be, and maybe the most frightening moment I’ve seen in a film in eons.”

But did it actually happen?

Based on the 2002 novel of the same name by Michael Punke, the original writing makes no mention of the character being raped by a bear. Although the resulting injuries of his savage mauling are inspected by one of his fellow frontiersmen there’s no mention of anything… sexual.

So why have several critics seen sexually explicit scenes in DiCaprio’s mauling?

Perhaps the bear’s motions on screen are in some way reminiscent of a savage sex scene… or maybe the critics are simply barking up the wrong tree.

Either way, it looks as though DiCaprio might finally be in line for the Oscar he deserves… even if it does follow this rather bizarre turn of events.

‘The Revenant’ heads to cinemas on 15 January 2016.
