This Morning made Christmas dreams come true on the Tuesday 1 December. Chef Juliet Sear built a life-size gingerbread house and it's incredible.

The edible structure was around the size of a garden shed and covered in enough iced, piped and sugar sprinkled decorations to make Hansel and Gretal's mouths water... not to mention Holly and Phillip.

The show shared pictures of the fabulous creation to Instagram and added in a video of the house being built and it's mesmerising.

The photos were captioned: "To mark the beginning of December, @julietsear made us the biggest gingerbread house we've ever seen! Hands up who'd like a piece! 🙋♀️

"Swipe across to see how we did it, and watch the big reveal in full on the ITV Hub! 📺"

Juliet posted the incredible structure on her page too and told followers all about how it was made and reassured them that it didn't all go to waste.

"We made a MASSIVE gingerbread house to see In December on @itv @thismorning today, what do you think?? It was super fun to make, with a brilliant team!👩🍳@hollywilloughby and @schofe loved it.

"Also there’s my fast ‘cheats’ gingerbread recipe on the website which will make 3 x bricks. We used 700 on this house! We packed loads of it up for charity after the show. Huge thanks to @bloxy1 and the whole team everyone worked their little Elf socks off! ❤️"

Juliet even included a picture of a grinning Phillip and Holly looking like Christmas really had come early.
