Lifetime’s ‘I Killed My BFF’ Movie Sets Summer Premiere Date

The film based on the unscripted Lifetime Movie Network series “I Killed My BFF” is set to premiere on June 13.

The crime story stars “30 Rock” actress Katrina Bowden and Olivia Crocicchia from FX’s “Rescue Me”. Inspired by true events, the film follows two inseparable best friends who are eventually torn apart by life circumstances.

In Seth Jarrett’s directorial debut, the TV thriller is also set to have his Jarrett Creative partner Julie Insogna-Jarrett and Tim Perell exec producing. Written by Danny Abel and Blake Berris, other cast members include Chris Zylka (“The Leftovers”) and Blake Michaels (“Dog with a Blog”).

“We love to tell interesting and compelling stories, and we are so excited about this new transition into the scripted world and working in this new capacity,” the producers of Jarrett Creative said in a joint statement.

Jarrett Creative is represented by UTA.
