Lily James has reportedly bought her first London home - a £3million one-bedroom house.

The 31-year-old star of Downton Abbey and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, is said to have bought the property, which is in North London, at the end of last year.

According to the Daily Mail, Land Registry documents show the actress bought the home, which is Grade-II listed, without a lender in November.

James is thought to be dating rock star Michael Shuman, the bassist of Queens of the Stone Age, who has been spotted near to the house in a coffee shop, the Daily Mail reports.

The romantic comedy has been written byJemima Khan and stars Emma Thompson, and Rob Brydon.

The pair were seen outside James’ hotel in February.

The actress, who at the end of last year made headlines after she was spotted with married actor Dominic West - her co-star in upcoming BBC drama The Pursuit Of Love - in Rome, is familiar with north London.

She lived there with Doctor Who and The Crown star Matt Smith, who she dated for five years.
