Video transcript

JASMINE VALENTINE: You're trying to find love here. What have been some of the best, or worst, romantic scenes that you've been involved in?

LILY JAMES: The best was with Shazad.

SHAZAD LATIF: Best was with Lily. Well yeah. Definitely that final scene--

LILY JAMES: Oh, we're not allowed to--

SHAZAD LATIF: Yeah. Yeah. There's a-- every scene together was great.

LILY JAMES: Yeah.

SHAZAD LATIF: Yeah. Definitely the best was with Lily. That's-- worst? I don't if I'm supposed to say this.

In "Star Trek," I did a-- I had a romantic liaison, I would say it, without being explicit. I had a special moment with an alien. But we were on a rotating bed and the director was playing weird music. And that was how he filmed it.

So that was probably in a way my worst-- for the character, the worst romantic for me. Does that make sense? Yeah.

JASMINE VALENTINE: So just like your characters, families can be a little bit embarrassing when it comes to dating lives or whatever. Have you ever had, when you were younger, any moments where you're just like, mom, please stop?

LILY JAMES: All the time.

SHAZAD LATIF: I've had my mom walk into me a couple of times [INAUDIBLE]. Yeah. That happened.

JASMINE VALENTINE: Not ideal. That is not what you want to happen. I'm so sorry.

SHAZAD LATIF: Probably be cutting my mom all day. But it's just--

LILY JAMES: Yeah, your mom's going to be pissed. We've had a lot of parties with your mom in the house. His mom is amazing. I love her so much.
