Lindsay Lohan not getting second Oprah series

Lindsay Lohan not getting second Oprah series

Has Lindsay Lohan blown her last chance?

The troubled Mean Girls star was handed her own eight-episode reality series by Oprah Winfrey after leaving rehab last year.

The show aired on Oprah's OWN channel, but has struggled with low ratings, while Lindsay's attitude and behaviour has thrown her hope of making a Hollywood comeback into further doubt.

Now it's been confirmed that the show will not have a second season. Oh dear, Lindsay!

However, a rep for Oprah insists there was never any plan to do so, saying, "Rumours that it is being cancelled are untrue."

A source adds: "The intention was always to do eight episodes. The show is not being cancelled."

The news comes after Lohan confessed to breaking her sobriety pact by drinking wine during a recent episode of Lindsay. The show has also featured the actress arguing with her estranged father, Michael, and she was also chastised by the TV titan in one episode after continually delaying production.

The show has also shocked showbiz insiders - Rosie O'Donnell has branded seeing Lindsay in such a low place as a "tragedy".

She said: "The Lindsay show is a tragedy - on every level. I hope one day she gets sober for real and watches these episodes - n (and) sees what we all do."
