Lindsay Lohan has revealed that she can relate to late star Dame Elizabeth Taylor "on a lot of levels" after playing her on screen.
The troubled starlet portrays the Hollywood legend in US TV movie Liz And Dick, and said she feels a real kinship with Taylor because she lived her life in the spotlight in the same way she does herself, reported RadarOnline.com.
Li-Lo, 26, apparently opened up in a behind-the-scenes interview for the film, saying: "I'm a huge Elizabeth Taylor fan, and I relate to her on a lot of levels - living in the public eye, dealing with the stress of what other people say, whether it's true or not."
"I personally understand Liz, because you're living your life for everyone to see, and people are growing with you," she said.
The Mean Girls actress continued: "You get to a point where you become numb to it, and you just live your life the way you feel you need to live it."
Liz And Dick will chronicle the tempestuous love affair between the actress and Welsh actor Richard Burton.
