Yahoo Movies London-based TikToker recreates Salt Bae’s gold-wrapped steak and reveals true cost
A London TikToker made Salt Bae’s signature gold-wrapped steak and lifted the lid on the true cost.
London-based Harrison Webb, 24, whipped up the £1,450 meal served at Nusr-Et Steakhouse in Knightsbridge in his own kitchen for a fraction of the price.
In total, the ingredients for the flashy steak set the blogger back £64.22.
His tongue in cheek video showed fans exactly how to achieve the master finish on their steak just like Salt Bae.

He walked his viewers through a step-by-step guide on how to cook the steak.
The TikToker splashed out President butter for £2, garlic for 60p, coriander for 70p, £32.92 for a cote de boeuf and edible gold for £28.
He wrote: “How much the Salt Bae GOLD steak REALLY costs to make!”
Of course his video has become a talker and it has already racked up 16.4K likes on social media since it was uploaded in recent days.
Some people were quick to defend Salt Bae pointing out the steak at the restaurant is Wagyu which is one of the most expensive in the world.
It is not known what steak the TikToker used for his video.
It comes after Gemma Collins admitted she felt sick spending £1,450 on Salt Bae’s gold steak.
Salt Bae was recently slammed as a “Mickey Mouse” by a top chef.
However, he has always received warm praise from his competitors as a restaurant boss hailed him as a genius for having tables fully booked on “insane” prices.
Salt Bae has rubbed shoulders with a whole galaxy of celebrities and footballers at his restaurants.
His Instagram showcases his meet and greets with everyone from Leonardo DiCaprio to David Beckham.
Originally he went viral for his signature salt sprinkling move which still captures the attention of people today.
