Yahoo Movies Lorraine and her daughter Rosie share the trailer for their new 'What if?' podcast
Lorraine Kelly and her daughter Rosie Smith have revealed the big project they've been teasing... they're making a podcast!
The mother daughter duo have been working on, What if? for a while now and chose this weekend to announce it to fans and followers and to share an audio trailer to give you a taste of the show.
It's all about the moments and choices that have shaped peoples lives and we can't wait to hear it!
The TV legend posted the news to her Instagram on Saturday(17 April), writing: "@rosiekellysmith and I have been working on our very own podcast, 'What If?' with @beautypie. Each week we chat to a very special guest to discuss their turning points and life changing decisions."
Encouraging followers to subscribe, she told followers: "SO exciting! - would love you to subscribe! Swipe for a trailer!"
The pair introduce themselves in the trailer and explain a little of what can be expected. A sweet exchange is captured where Rosie introduces her mum and realises how strange it feels to call her by her name, something most of us could relate to but with an added novelty for this pair.
"Hello, my name is Rosie and I'm here with my mum Lorraine Kelly. That's weird. You're my mum. I don't call you by your first name, or your proper name, your stage name."
With Lorraine then reminding listeners of her real name: "I know I'm actually Smith,"
And Rosie adding that her mums stage name often leads to confusion with her own name: "You're Smith, like me. People call me Rosie Kelly and I'm not."
Rosie shared the announcement on her page too with plenty of gusto, telling followers: "FINALLY! My mum and I are so excited to finally share a project that we have been working on with @beautypie behind the scenes for some time now - our very own podcast, 'What If!'
"Within ‘What If?’ we will be chatting with a number of celeb guests from all walks of life, talking through the big and small decisions they have made that defined their path, any regrets and what's shaped them to be who they are today."
They haven't revealed any of the guests yet, but considering who must be in Lorraine's little black book, we can expect some exciting names!
