The ‘lovely village market’ near Bristol named as one of the best in UK
A seaside artisan market near Bristol has been named one of the best in the UK.
The artisan market, which is located outdoors near Clevedon pier and the seafront, has over 50 stalls showcasing locally produced food and drink, craft makers and vintage collectors.
The monthly Clevedon market came fifth in the country according to new research. Researchers analysed 32 markets in coastal locations based on Tripadvisor reviews, Instagram hashtags, TikTok views and Google searches which were weighted to establish a final index. Clevedon market racked up over 6,247 views on TikTok alone.
One visitor took to Tripadvisor to praise the market, commenting: “Lovely village market with all manner of things to browse and buy including various breads, cheese products, books, garden stuff, pots for a wide range of plants and flowers. Really nice community feel about this market. And there are many cafes and charity shops in the vicinity giving the area a real buzz!”

The market is located on the hill and by the sea in Clevedon, between the seafront, Hill Road and Alexandra Road.
The market takes place on the first Sunday of the month between March and December, 10am- 2pm. The next one takes place on September 3.
