The “Según Quién” singer and his girlfriend of three years announced that they are expecting their first baby together during his concert in Washington, D.C. last month. He shared the music video for “Procura” during the show, and clips included in the video revealed that Gomez is pregnant — and Maluma couldn’t be happier about it.
Fans in the audience got a glimpse of some more intimate moments between the couple as they learned their family is growing as they prepare to welcome a baby girl.
The singer became visibly emotional in one clip as he saw his baby on an ultrasound for the first time.
Clips also showed the couple sharing the happy news with their respective families, as well as scenes from their sex reveal party. Gomez’s growing belly was also featured throughout.
In a recent interview with NPR, he addressed the news for the first time, as he shared that becoming a father is “such a big dream” for him.
“Paris, our beautiful daughter, she’s growing inside her mom’s belly and she gives me many reasons to keep dreaming… She’s everything to me right now.”
His eagerness to become a parent was obvious. “It’s a beautiful journey, you know I’m here to learn. I think these kids come into this world to teach us a bunch of things so I’m ready to learn.”
Maluma added, “It's crazy. It’s a crazy feeling that only parents can understand… but I just love this feeling and my days are brighter than ever.”
