'Man of Steel' LEGO set reveals some minor spoilers

'Man of Steel' is now less than two months away, and excitement for Zack Snyder's reboot continues to build and build to an almost fervent extent.

This anticipation has now increased a few more notches after the latest LEGO box set for 'Man of Steel' was released, which has managed to reveal some minor spoilers for Superman's return.

Warning, if you want to keep your mind void of any Superman secrets before 'Man of Steel's' release then you probably shouldn't read ahead.

You have been warned.

So, one of the 'Man of Steel' box sets is entitled 'Superman: Battle of Smallville' and features the characters of Superman, Colonel Hardy, General Zod, Foaora and Tor-An doing battle in Clark Kent's hometown. It also gives us a clear look at the villain's military attire too, and boy do they look fiendish.

Hardy appears to be riding around Smallville in a tank looking quite menacing too, and Zod also looks equally as daunting, if not more so, in his Krypton spacecraft. Good luck Superman, you're going to need it.

But the fact that Superman looks like he can fire lasers from his retinas should help him out, which it looks like he will do so when duelling Tor-An.

Another set includes the 'Superman: Black Zero Escape.' For the uninitiated Black Zero is one of the Man of Steel's most venomous adversaries. He apparently destroys Krypton in 'Man of Steel' and then later, according to the LEGO figurines, manages to catch Lois Lane whilst going toe-to-toe with Superman.

'Superman: Metropolis Showdown' then shows everyone's favourite superhero having a fight in the city against General Zod, but this shouldn't be of any surprise to those of you who have watched every single second of 'Man of Steel's' trailers repeatedly.

Metropolis looks set to go through quite a change in Snyder's epic, whilst we can expect to see Zod using a steel girder for protection against Superman's red-laser vision somewhere in the film too. All of which just adds to 'Man of Steel's' expectation.

Do you think 'Man of Steel's' LEGO set has spoilt the film?
