Marisa Abela transformed into Amy Winehouse as she films biopic in London
The film will look at the late star's 'vibrant years living in London' and 'intense journey to fame'
Rising star Marisa Abela was the spitting image of Amy Winehouse as she filmed the upcoming biopic about the late singer in Soho.
The actor was snapped walking arm in arm with Eddie Marsan, who will play Winehouse's dad Mitch in Back To Black.
Her hair was piled into the Rehab singer's trademark beehive and she wore a black outfit and hoop earrings in the style of the late star, who died in 2011 at the age of 27.

The film, which is being directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, will look at Winehouse's "vibrant years living in London" and "her intense journey to fame".
As well as Abela and Marsan, it has been reported that the cast includes Jack O'Connell.
He is apparently playing Blake Fielder-Civil, who Winehouse was married to from 2007 to 2009.
Director Taylor-Johnson has said the singer was a "genius".
"I feel excited and humbled to have this opportunity to realise Amy’s beautifully unique and tragic story to cinema accompanied by the most important part of her legacy – her music," she said.
The Amy Winehouse Estate has also backed the project, saying in a statement: “We are thrilled that STUDIOCANAL, Focus Features and Monumental are making this movie celebrating our daughter Amy’s extraordinary music legacy and showcasing her talent in the way that it deserves.”
Winehouse rose to fame in 2003 with the release of her album, Frank.
She was known for tracks such as Rehab, Back To Black and Tears Dry On Their Own.
