Mark Wright is taking on the challenge of getting the Loose Women and their viewers fit with a new exercise segment starting at the end of January.

The radio DJ and former Towie star knows a thing or two about fitness as a footballer for Crawley FC, and last year set up his own training company and app, Train Wright, with his brother Josh who is also a Crawley player.

Anyone looking to get Wright’s muscle definition will be able to follow his motivational routines in Get Moving With Mark on Loose Women on Wednesdays from January 30.

Wright, who is married to Michelle Keegan, said: “I always love appearing on Loose Women, so I'm really excited for the launch of Get Moving With Mark and helping the ladies get motivated and reach their health and fitness goals.

“Now, more than ever, it's so important that we look after both our bodies and our minds, and exercising does just that.

“Hopefully I'll inspire not just the panel, but people watching at home too."

Wright posted his own short HIIT workouts last year during the first lockdown, which proved popular and helped his success in launching Train Wright.

Loose Women editor Sally Shelford said: “Mark has long been a friend of the show and is a favourite with both our panel and viewers alike, so he’s the perfect person to help us all feel healthier, energised and more motivated in 2021.

“In this current climate, keeping active is as vital for our mental health as it is for us physical health, so I’m looking forward to seeing what tips, tools and advice Mark has to get our ladies, and the nation, feeling fit and fabulous.”

Loose Women regular panelist Saira Khan recently left her role on the show and caused controversy when she gave an interview saying that she had to “tolerate” some of her chat show co-stars.

Viewers were given a clue as to who she may have been talking about when she unfollowed Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore and Kaye Adams on social media, who also removed her.
